Urological and Robotic Surgeon

About Dr Sethi

Kapil is a Melbourne-trained urologist specialising in minimally invasive prostate surgery. With a focus on HoLEP (Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate), he has honed his skills at renowned German institutions,
including the Martini Klinik and Asklepios Klinik.

Kapil’s expertise lies in the en-bloc technique, a minimally invasive approach that provides superior outcomes for patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. This technique involves removing the enlarged prostate tissue in one piece to reduce anaesthesia time and improve clinical outcomes.

Beyond his clinical practice, Kapil is actively involved in research and teaching. He has presented his work internationally and is a reviewer for leading urology journals. As a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University
of Melbourne, Kapil is committed to training the next generation of urologists and advancing the field of prostate surgery.
